Exports of industrial and consumer goods via BUCE gained 34%
The results of exchange trades held on BUCE in January-July 2020 show appreciable growth of industrial and consumer goods export – by 34%, up to 30 mln BYN.
Booming sales of concrete blocks, bricks and mortar mixes were the main reason for soaring foreign trade figures accounting for 80% of the overall export volume. Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia and Ukraine came as the biggest buyers of Belarusian products.
According to Anton Zaretskiy, Head of Industrial and Consumer Goods at BUCE, local manufacturers have been actively using BUCE’s trading platform even in cases when they had their own network of offices and trading houses abroad.
“We have no such notion as a “minimal order” and the registration procedure is simpler than ever. That is why we can quickly find a buyer for virtually any Belarus-made product. Our trading platform is now widely used by many Belarusian companies. For them an alternative sales channel which complements the traditional distribution network. Furthermore, the competition among foreign buyers helps our exporters strike deals on the most favorable terms”, Anton Zaretskiy claims.
