Brest played host to BUCE’s workshop on exchange auctions for works and services

12/19/2025

BUCE launched its “Exchange Trading for Works and Services” platform in November 2025 and is currently conducting a large-scale information campaign in the regions of Belarus aimed at explaining the platform's capabilities to construction and freight transportation companies. On December 18, the Brest branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a meeting of BUCE experts and potential users of the new electronic platform. The event gathered some 30 representatives from more than 20 leading construction organizations in Brest and the Brest region that provide and procure construction services.

Maxim Khomich, Head of BUCE’s Promising Commodities Department, highlighted the key advantages of the software suite for trading works and services, including its rich set of features and user-friendliness. The platform is accessible online 24/7 from any internet-enabled device, while the auctions can be held at any time convenient for the participants. All documentation is processed electronically, which makes it much simpler to manage the flow of documents during procurement and sales of works and services.

Another important feature of the platform is that any visitor, even if they are not BUCE’s clients, can view bids for works and services posted there, as well as offers from contractors. However, to take full advantage of the exchange trading platform, one must go through the accreditation procedure that takes under three days and can be completed remotely.

Accredited participants of exchange auctions have the opportunity to select bids and offers, negotiate prices and terms, promote their services free of charge, and enjoy BUCE's full support before, during and after the auction.
