BUCE simplifies accreditation procedure for Turkish companies

12/02/2022

In a bid to make the exchange mechanism more attractive to foreign companies, including potential buyers of fuel pellets and other timber products, BUCE has simplified the accreditation procedure for residents of Turkey.

From now on, to obtain an electronic digital signature and become a participant of exchange trades, a Turkish company only needs to submit a minimal package of documents. Everything is done online and the entire procedure usually takes just one working day to complete.

“As part of the preparations ahead of the first pellet trades aimed at the Turkish market we have eased the accreditation requirements for residents of this country. One only needs to upload two electronic on BUCE website: an copy of an abstract from the trade register translated into English, Russian or Belarusian language and a copy of the CEO’s passport page with identification data. It takes merely one working day to check the documents, issue an electronic signature, and sign a contract for exchange services. The simplified accreditation procedure is already available to residents of 21 countries, which makes the exchange mechanism more accessible to foreign buyers of Belarusian products,” BUCE press service said.

The first wood pellet trades aimed at Turkish consumers are scheduled for December 6, 2022. Belarusian timber enterprises have agreed to offer some 18 000 cubic meters of A1 and A2 pellets with delivery to the target market.
