5000th foreign company registered on BUCE

03/04/2021

Wenzhou Ruijun Steel Co. Ltd (China) has become the 5000th foreign company registered on BUCE. Wenzhou Ruijun Steel is planning to use BUCE’s electronic marketplace to sell steel pipes and other metal products in Belarus.

According to Zhang Wenshu, Wenzhou Ruijun Steel CEO, the company views BUCE as an opportunity to gain access to some of the largest metal consumers in Belarus.

Time is the most valuable resource in any business and more so in the international trade when your potential share in a new market depends on how fast you enter it. Therefore, from all the available Belarusian market entry strategies we opted for BUCE trading platform as we consider it the most efficient way of getting in touch with our target audience – large industrial and energy companies. At first, we are planning to sell mostly steel pipes. Later, however, if the situation in the market is favorable, we intend to expand the product range. Exchange trading is a new but very exciting experience for us”, Zhang Wenshu said.

Wenzhou Ruijun Steel is the 36th Chinese company registered on BUCE, and based on January-February statistics China has outperformed nearly all the key markets with which Belarusian businesses transact using BUCE’s marketplace.

A sharp increase of the share of Chinese companies in BUCE turnover is the result of aggressive promotion policy launched by BUCE at the end of 2020. Boosting trade with China is also among BUCE’s main objectives for 2021, which means that the number of Chinese participants of exchange trades as well as the range of commodities exported to or imported from this country will keep on growing.
