11/29/2021

In the course of the talks held during the meeting with the representatives of the Indian business community, a number of Indian manufacturers of tiling materials, spare parts for agricultural machinery and industrial equipment, expressed interest in selling their products on BUCE. In particular, the Indian companies are thinking of placing sell offers for ceramic tiles, porcelain stoneware, and epoxy mortars on BUCE’s B2B marketplace. According to BUCE press service, these products are highly sought after by the Belarusian construction organizations. Therefore, it will not be too hard to find potential buyers.

Construction materials account for about 17% of the total turnover of our B2B marketplace designed for trading industrial and consumer goods. More so, that contracts for aerated concrete blocks, building mixtures, mortars and, cladding panels regularly make it into the TOP-10 largest transactions. By the way, this year the residents of Russia and Baltic countries have been actively buying and selling construction materials as part of transit transactions. That is why, if Indian companies start selling these products on out marketplace, it is likely that it won’t take them long to find the buyers,” BUCE representatives said.

Besides building materials, Indian enterprises also expressed willingness to sell bearings, thrust rings, pipes and other spare parts for tractors, cars and construction machinery via BUCE. Other promising commodity items include LED lamps and equipment for the confectionery industry. It is expected that at first only small-size trial lots will be put up for sale, which will allow Indian suppliers to assess the capacity of the Belarusian market and decide whether it is sufficient for their purposes.
