Polish energy supplier plans to buy woodchips at BUCE

On December 11, BUCE head office played host to the talks with Enea Trading Sp. z.o.o., a Polish company specializing in electric energy, natural gas, coal, and biomass supplies for households and corporate consumers.

According to Enea Trading CEO Dawid Klimczak, the company is currently importing most of fuel wood from Ukraine. However, for diversification purposes it considers entering the market of Belarus. Since Enea Trading was specifically interested in regular procurements of woodchips, BUCE representatives provided detailed information about the accreditation procedure, timber trading rules and regulations, security of exchange transactions, and logistics. BUCE experts also underscored that the Polish company could count on BUCE’s support in all trading-related matters ranging from trader training to transaction fulfillment monitoring.

Enea Trading Sp. z.o.o.

Following the meeting, the sides agreed that Enea Trading Sp. z.o.o. would get accredited at BUCE as an exchange trade participant. All the required documents are supposed to be submitted to BUCE’s Certifying Authority anytime soon.
