On May 31– June 9, BUCE representative made a business trip to Prague and Ostrava (Czech Republic) with a mission to find strategic partners and promote BUCE’s services in the Czech and EU markets.

During the visit to Prague, he held a series of meetings with the representatives of large Czech enterprises willing to cooperate with BUCE. In particular, BUCE expert held talks with ALITEC regarding the purchase of laminated veneer lumber and other timber products at exchange auctions, while MADE (a major meat producer) agreed to offer its products at BUCE’s agricultural electronic trading platform as a means of entering the market of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

Additionally, BUCE spokesperson met with František Masopust, Executive Director of the Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry, to discuss possible cooperation with BUCE’s Czech broker Vesna Interiors as well as prospects of implementing a joint project aimed at creation of an electronic trading platform in the Czech Republic.

Following the trip itinerary, BUCE representative attended the Business days of the Russian Federation in Ostrava dedicated to the EAEU market development and made a presentation of BUCE’s capabilities. He also held talks with Valery Kurdyukov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Czech Republic. The sides looked into the prospects of joining efforts in a bid to make more Belarusian products available on the market of the Czech Republic and other EU countries. As part of this initiative, BUCE intends to take part in the 55th International machine-building exhibition (MSV), which is scheduled to take place in October 2016 in Brno.
