On February 5-7, 2015 BUCE working group visited Prague (Czech Republic) and Vilnius (Republic of Lithuania).
During the trip to the Czech Republic, BUCE experts held talks with the members of the Czech business community in a bid to increase the number of companies registered at BUCE’s platform of Industrial and Consumer goods and the volume of exchange transactions executed by such companies. The information about the advantages of exchange trade and BUCE’s services was met with interest by a number of Czech traders and manufacturers. In particular, Panet Cz expressed willingness to represent BUCE in the Czech Republic, while the talks with Blanka Jakubcova, head of the Czech Confederation of Industry, resulted in a set of joint measures that will help expand BUCE’s client base and the list of tradable commodities.
As part of the visit to Lithuania, a meeting with BUCE representative in the Republic of Lithuania took place. The sides analyzed the performance in 2014 and specified priority tasks for 2015. One of such tasks will be to ramp up efforts aimed at promotion of the ICG platform among the Lithuanian businesses.
