2012.09.10 | Agriculture: Belarus to invest $24m in 27 pilot projects Belarus has earmarked Br200 billion ($23.866m at the central bank’s rate) in budget funds to finance 27 pilot innovation projects developed by the National Science Academy to field-test promising technologies, machinery and equipment in the framework of the State Programme for Sustainable Rural Development in 2011-2015.The pilot projects are focused on selective seed production, selective dairy breeding, pig breeding, juice production, biotechnologies for dairy and meat production.
