2012.08.13 | Russian watchdog bans on 2 Ukrainian firms from importing goods The Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Oversight banned two Ukrainian agricultural companies from importing their products to the Customs Union comprising Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, the service said in a statement on Tuesday.The two plants, Atlantik and Kombinat Pridnestrovsky, refused to submit to previously agreed checks by Russian authorities during their scheduled visit to 31 meat and milk processing factories that had wanted to import products to the Customs Union. In June, Vladimir Gorzheyev, head of the Ukrainian veterinary and phytosanitary oversight service, said that 74 companies were allowed to supply their products to Russia. PRIME-TASS return |
