2012.08.13 | Deputy PM: Russia may export 10-12 mln tns of grain in 2012 Russia may export 10 million–12 million tonnes of grain in 2012 should the harvest yield 75 million–80 million tonnes, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said Thursday.Dvorkovich told reporters an export volume of up to 12 million tonnes is within the earlier forecast. On Monday, the Agriculture Ministry said that it may cut the grain forecast to 75 million tonnes from an earlier forecasted 80–85 million tonnes. The export potential stands at 12 million tonnes of grain given a harvest of 75 million tonnes, the ministry added then. In 2011, Russia collected 94.2 million tonnes of grain. PRIME-TASS return |
