2012.05.14 | Ukraine will resume cheese export to Russia after internal check

The Russian government sold 1.234 million tonnes of grain from its intervention fund for a total of 6.536 billion rubles from April 4 through Wednesday, state-owned United Grain Company, the government’s agent for grain purchases, said in a statement Thursday.

On Thursday, the government sold 140,134 tonnes of grain for 772.93 million rubles.

The 2012 grain intervention was launched on April 4 and will close June 1. Trading is carried out twice a week on commodity exchanges in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Yekaterinburg, and Novosibirsk.
