2010.03.05 | Russian MMK sees coke output up 20% on year in 2010 Russian Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, or MMK, plans to return coke output to the pre-crisis level and increase its production 20% on the year to about 6 million tonnes in 2010, the company said.Oleg Shashkov, director of MMK’s coke production division, said that the company had started construction of a coke battery with an annual output of 1.14 million tonnes and was continuing reconstruction of another coke battery despite economic difficulties.
