2010.03.05 | Lukashenko cuts financial obligations of farms by BYR 1.6 trillion in 2010 Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has reduced by his ordinance № 92 financial obligations of agricultural enterprises to be discharged in 2010 by 1.6 trillion BYR to 7.7 trillion BYR. Some farms will be allowed to pay in installments.As of November 1, 2009, farms’ arrears of payments to the republican and local budgets (except for customs payments, transfers to the innovation fund, VAT and excise taxes), to the Social Security Fund and payments for consumer energy amounted to 19.6 trillion BYR. Some farms will be granted a ten-year respite to pay economic penalties and fines. As a result, the financial burden on farms will be decreased to 61 billion BYR from 541 billion BYR, the press service of the president said.
