2012.05.07 | Russia’s Metalloinvest iron ore output falls 0.3% in Jan–Mar

Russian metals holding Metalloinvest decreased iron ore production by 0.3% on the year to 9.893 million tonnes in January–March, the company said Thursday.

Steel output in the period fell 5.6% to 1.409 million tonnes, cast iron ore decreased 8.9% to 563,000 tonnes, while pellets output rose 1.9% to 5.8 million tonnes.
