2012.03.19 | Belarus’ GDP up 3% on year in Jan-Feb 2012 Belarus’ gross domestic product (GDP) expanded 3% on the year in January-February 2012 to 68.206 trillion Belarusian rubles (8.1 billion at the central bank’s exchange rate), an official with Belarus’ National Statistics Committee told reporters.Industrial output in January-February 2012 increased 6.3% on the year to Br97.981 trillion (Br8,160/$1). Farm output rose 6.7% to Br8.822 trillion. In 2011, Belarus’ GDP grew 5.3% on the year to 274.3 trillion Belarusian rubles. Industrial output amounted to 337 trillion rubles, up 9.1% on the year.
