2010.06.11 | Russian deputy PM says government won’t restrict food importsRussian First Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov said the government will not restrict food imports, ITAR-TASS reported.
“We will not restrict (food) imports to a certain extent because our products should be competitive,” he said.
He also called for promoting grain and meat exports. Zubkov added that Russia could export turkey meat to the Middle East and venison to Europe.
