2010.04.23 | Belarus’ OAO Belsolod malt export up 13.7%/yr in 1Q Belarus’ OAO Belsolod, the country’s only producer of malt, reported a 13.7% increase in malt export in the first quarter of 2010 to 3,127 tonnes, a source in the company told Prime-Tass.In value terms, exports fell 36.3% to U.S. $884,000. Supplies to the domestic market dropped 87.9% to 1,629 tonnes. Belsolod’s sales totaled 4,756 tonnes in the first quarter, down 70.6% on the year.
