LEGALIZATION

For the countries that are participants of the Hague convention of 1961 abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents (also known as the “Apostille Convention”) extract from the trade register and power of attorney for the trader have to contain special stamp – apostille. For further legalization documents (extract from the trade register and power of attorney) have to be translated into the Russian language, the translator’s signature has to be certified by the notary (in Russian language).

For Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and CIS countries extract from the trade register of the country with official seal should be translated into the Russian language, the translator’s signature has to be certified by the notary (in Russian language). Power of attorney for the trader should be certified by the notary (in the country of the applicant’s registration), i.e. head of the company signs the power of attorney in the notary presence and the notary has to confirm that power of attorney is singed by head of the company. After that this document should be translated into the Russian language and the translator’s signature has to be certified by the notary (in Russian language).
