EXCHANGE BROKERS

The exchange broker — the participant of exchange trade, rendering intermediary services in exchange transactions for his client. Stockbroker performs for his client (legal person or entrepreneur) all necessary steps and procedures for participation in exchange trading, and the conclusion of transactions. Stockbroker may conduct transactions:

  • on behalf of clients at their expense,
  • on its own behalf at the expense of clients,
  • on behalf of clients at his own expense.

Relationships between the exchange broker and the Exchange are regulated with the exchange service contract. Relationships between the exchange broker and their clients are regulated with other contracts (contract of agency and others).

Functions of the exchange broker:

  • intermediary at fulfillment of transactions at the exchange by acceptance of commissions of clients and fulfillment of transactions at the Exchange on the best conditions for clients
  • representation of clients interests by conducting operations at the Exchange and fulfillment of transactions on behalf of clients at their expense, on its own behalf at the expense of clients and on behalf of clients at own expense
  • consultation of clients on the questions regarding fulfillment of transactions at the Exchange, concerning quality and properties of the exchange goods 
  • documenting of transactions, presentation of exchange contracts to exchange registration
  • other functions, ensuring the implementation of clients' orders in accordance with the rules of exchange trade in the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange

Working with stockbrokers provides an opportunity to use highly skilled professionals capable of maximum benefit when conducting exchange transactions without diverting their own client's staff.

Before applying for buying/selling of the exchange goods the exchange broker is obliged to register its client at the Exchange.
