ACCREDITATION

Accreditation means registration at the Exchange on the basis of contracts on exchange service, the recognition of legitimacy and powers to participate in the auctions. Accreditation is given free of charge.

It is possible to take part in the auctions independently or through intermediaries (exchange brokers).

According to the Rules of exchange trade foreign legal entities can take part at the auctions only as visitors of the auctions (i.e. to make transactions at the Exchange on its own behalf and at own expense).

Those entities that for various reasons cannot or does not wish to trade at the Exchange independently can contact an exchange broker. In this case it is not necessary to get accreditation at the Exchange because the chosen broker is already accredited and will make all necessary actions on goods purchase/sale in favour of the client.

Non-residents of the Republic of Belarus shall submit the following documents:

1. Application
2. Extract from the trade register of the country of the applicant’s registration.

   Extract requirements:

   • the Extract must be legalized according to the legislation of the applicant’s country
   • the Extract must be issued one year at the latest before the date of representation of documents for the exchange contract conclusion
   • the Extract must contain data on registration, legal address, authority description of applicant’s officials
   • the Extract must be translated into Belarusian or Russian language (the signature of the translator should be proved by notary in Belarusian or Russian language)
3. Two copies of exchange service contract of a visitor of trades signed by the applicant’s authorized representative
4. Legalized power of attorney on the trader with translation into Belarusian or Russian language (the signature of the translator should be proved by notary in Belarusian or Russian language)
5. Copy of the trader’s passport pages containing registration data of a natural person (the original of passport must be submitted for comparison)

Resolution on conclusion of the exchange service contract with the visitor or of refusal in conclusion of such contract is taken by the Exchange in 5 business days after the day of submission of the documents provided for with Point 12 of Section 3 of the Rules, on which the applicant is notified in the written or another form.
